As in the first, technology, I only understand ambitious goals and an obsessive search for quality. Then we make mistakes, and we don’t always get there. But there is no other vocation than things done well. And for that you have to aim well above the average. In spirit, in time, in tenacity and in observation, because this is really imprecise and complicated. And the breeding even cruel at times.

Horse breeding is supposed to be extremely unpredictable in terms of results. Where two plus two does not always give four. And well, I am one of those who continues to believe that two plus two equals four. The great difficulty of breeding is to know if we are shuffling a two and another two in the sum, or we are simply wrong, and even deceive, believing it. Yes. Then things happen. At times many and incredible. Cruel, repeated, casual, unfair… That is why it is so difficult. But two plus two is four. Always. I think the key is to get closer, and, if we don’t get to include “twos” in the sum, at least get as close as possible.

In Europe there are genetic lines that have reached levels that most of us ignore until we discover them. And we naively think that our ‘two’ is like theirs. Nothing could be further from the truth! Given that genetic quality exists, at ES DESIG we read and copy. And we only try, with our limited resources, to bring the best. The best “really”. What today triumphs internationally. So we make mistakes, we suffer waves of ‘coincidences’, but we have gathered mothers from emblematic lines at an international level, and only with them we raise our athletes.

The riders smile with the breeding lines, because they say that what is important is what you feel when you get on. But what else, if not genetics, do breeders have before inseminating a mother? Led by an exclusive line, that of TOP LULU (Ueleme & Quidam de Revel), other equally exceptional lines complete our mother team.

We will continue to expand this top-level offer, while the first generations already appear in our fields. We are a great team, with a different coach at the helm and the ‘guilty’ rider for everything. Good and honest riders, and an enviable stable team, complete this little family. We weren’t an equestrian family, but we will be. Without complex; that the affix ‘ES DESIG’ is heard on the best tracks in the world and that its products be a satisfaction for our customers.
